How does including lower-tail durability during optimization change concrete candidates and their environmental ranking?
Approach
Matched multiobjective searches compare mean-based and tenth-percentile initiation objectives using common exposure, inventory, and feasibility assumptions. Paired evaluation isolates the effect of uncertainty during candidate generation.
Contribution & status
A controlled comparison of the point at which uncertainty enters a material-selection workflow, with ranking regret and shortlist failure evaluated as separate outcomes. Under review at Journal of Cleaner Production.
