How do the calibration window and paired estimates of surface chloride and diffusivity affect corrosion-initiation screening?
Approach
Within-mixture early and full-window fits examine chloride aging sensitivity. Paired field inputs are propagated through a common Fickian initiation model across exposure scenarios.
Contribution & status
Two studies identify how calibration choices influence the direction and range of long-horizon predictions. The aging study is accepted and available as a journal pre-proof in Cement and Concrete Composites; the paired-input study is under review at Advanced Engineering Informatics.
